Small-Batch Roasted. Seriously Fresh. Fort Lee.

Fort Lee's neighborhood roastery crafting 8–10 single-origin coffees in small batches, roasted right on-site daily.

About Us

Roast'd Coffee - Fort Lee — photo 1

There are coffee shops, and then there are places that actually roast their own beans. Roast'd Coffee on Bergen Boulevard is firmly in the second category. The team roasts 8–10 single-origin varieties in small batches on the premises, which means the coffee in your cup was likely roasted just days ago, not weeks or months ago in some distant warehouse.

The philosophy here is straightforward: freshness matters, origin matters, and so does finding the right coffee for your particular palate. The staff takes time to understand what you're looking for and point you toward something that actually suits your taste. That kind of attention is rare, and it shows in the reviews. Roast'd holds a 4.8-star rating across more than 500 customer reviews, which doesn't happen by accident.

Fort Lee gets a neighborhood roastery that treats coffee as a craft rather than a commodity. Whether you're pulling up a chair for a dine-in espresso or picking up a bag of freshly roasted beans to brew at home, this is the kind of place that changes how you think about your morning cup.

What We Offer

In-house roasting is the foundation of everything at Roast'd. The roasting happens on-site, in small batches, so the single-origin coffees rotating through the lineup stay genuinely fresh. Espresso drinks are made to order, cold brew is crafted on the premises, and pour-over options showcase the nuance of each bean's origin.

Not in the area? Coffee bean shipping means you can have freshly roasted beans delivered directly to your door. For regulars and first-timers alike, to-go pickup keeps things quick when the morning is moving fast. Prefer to sit and slow down? Cafe seating is available for dine-in, giving you a proper place to taste through a new single-origin variety before committing to a bag.

The team is also happy to help you choose the right beans for your setup at home, including grinding them for you on the spot. It's the kind of service that turns a quick coffee stop into something you actually look forward to.

"I unexpectedly found this coffee shop and I absolutely love it! Their pour over coffee is really good, and they also sell their own brand of coffee beans. The staff even helps grind the beans for you. I really love this place."

"Very friendly staff and good coffee. For the taste, dark and rich. Almost no sour flavor. Best employee is Ismael even if he is only 2 weeks old barista, he treated me like an old friend. While i am waiting for the hand drip coffee, we were enjoying the small talk about a culture and human. For the first time customer, he even gave me a free coffee so i want to come back there to pay his coffee next time."

"I was passing through the area and really wanted to try the coffee here because they roast it themselves. The location isn't great, right next to the highway. It doesn't look like a cozy street with restaurants and coffee shops. There's a busy road, a gas station, and a car service station nearby. There's plenty of parking. The space itself is small; there's limited space because everything is cluttered with bags of coffee and containers. It was a bit dusty, and some of the potted plants were wilted. The coffee selection is excellent. The staff is friendly and polite. The prices are above average. I had a Moka with oat milk; it was delicious and not sweet, just the way I like it, but I didn't think it was very filling, maybe because I ordered two shots instead of four. You can buy whole-bean coffee, tea, pastries, and snacks here. They also sell souvenirs, mugs, teapots, and badges. I recommend this place!"

"My wife found this coffee shop by chance while searching online, and we’re really glad we stopped by. The person who seemed to be the owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We tried a latte made with their Legender beans and also had an Americano—both were great. I especially loved the dark, bold flavor, which was right up my alley. Highly recommend!"

"I recently visited Roastd Coffee and was so impressed! This is a definite must-try place for anyone who loves coffee. What I really enjoyed was the huge selection of coffee beans from all over the world. It's great that they also sell the beans so you can take your favorites home. They have so many options, from hot and iced to a variety of specialty coffees, which makes it easy to find exactly what you're in the mood for. The atmosphere is another big plus. The place is very clean and has a great vibe. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and they even took the time to help me select the perfect coffee. The quality of the coffee and the excellent customer service made for a fantastic experience. I'll definitely be back!"
